This was included in the gallery show “These Days”, a collaboration with photographer Bill Webb, Jr. of Memphis, Tennessee. My inspiration for the work came from the memories invoked by Bill’s photograph, a dark and cozy balcony in New Orleans. I imagined a dreamy apartment just beyond those shutters, where you might find the lace detail of my piece somewhere within.
Paper made from recycled black cotton clothing, stencil, bleach. Stretched over a pine frame. 32”x12” and can be hung in either portrait or landscape orientation. If you would like to purchase the photograph as well please contact me. It will be an additional $150.00.
